Age Limit
- The minimum age of the applicant should be 21 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on the last date of receipt of the application.

Vacancy Details & Educational Qualifications
A total of 150 tentative vacancies have been announced. These are divided into two main trainee roles. The category-wise breakdown is UR: 62, SC: 22, ST: 11, OBC (NCL) Delhi: 40, and EWS: 15.
- Technical Trainee:
- Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil / Environmental / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics & Communication (ECE) / Biomedical Engineering / Water Resources / Remote Sensing / GIS / Hydrology or any equivalent qualification.
- Scientific Trainee:
- Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Science / Chemistry / Environmental Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Toxicology or any equivalent qualification.
Selection Process
- The selection of candidates for the Trainee positions will be based on a Written Test, an Interview, or both, depending on the number of applications received. DPCC reserves the right to decide the exact mode of selection.
Salary & Training Details
- Nature of Job: This is a contractual engagement. Initially, trainees will be engaged for 6 months. Subject to satisfactory performance, the tenure can be extended in spells of six months, up to a maximum period of 3 years.
- Monthly Stipend: * 1st Year: Rs. 25,000/- per month, 2nd Year: Rs. 26,500/- per month, 3rd Year: Rs. 28,000/- per month.

Ans: The trainees are initially engaged for 6 months. However, based on satisfactory performance, this can be extended in 6-month spells up to a maximum total period of 3 years.

Ans: As per the notification, the OBC reservation is specifically meant for “OBC (NCL) Delhi” candidates. Candidates from other states may be treated under the Unreserved (UR) category unless specified otherwise by GNCTD rules.
